Endermologie is a non-surgical treatment used as a toning therapy for slimming, cellulite, fat reduction, skin tightening and post-operative liposuction amongst other conditions. To date, no other method has been found to reliably and consistently reduce the appearance of cellulite as effectively as endermological massage.
For hygiene purposes, you will have to wear a special body suit, which is supplied at a small fee to patients who would like to undergo a course of treatments.
Depending on your objectives, a patient may be recommended to have between 5-16 treatments (35 minutes each). Treatments can be received every day for the first two weeks, followed by 2-3 times a week afterwards. To maintain the achieved results, it is recommended to come back for a treatment every 4-5 weeks. It is recommended to drink plenty of water while on the course and in general.
The treatment activates the functioning of the lymphatic system, beneficial for blood circulation and metabolism. Exercise, therefore, on the same day after the treatment is very beneficial to help the body extract waste and toxins more efficiently and optimise the results from the treatment.

Drainage
Drainage or Water Retention treatment by Endermologie Lipomassage aims to eliminate the excessive build up of fluids and toxins in the tissue released by fat cells into the body tissue and the blood. If you decide to undertake cellulite or tissue volume reduction by Endermologie Lipomassage, it is very likely that your first session out of 16 will be 30 minutes of drainage as your therapist will have to get the excessive fluid eliminated first before getting down to working on the fat cells and cellulite. Some of our patients who have a lot of water retention, may need to have up to 3 drainage sessions. There can be a few reasons why our body may retain excessive fluid: not drinking enough water, for instance, triggers the tissues to retain supply of water to support metabolic activities in our body; excessive amount of salt due to unhealthy diet or medication such as contraceptive pill or a painkiller (chlorine and sodium are the main ions in the fluid that surrounds joints and tissues) can also cause uncomfortable water retention; your body can build up water in order to dilute excessive toxins and metabolic waste that are hard to get released and are stubbornly stored in the fat cells. Our specialists while developing your individual treatment plan by Endermologie Lipomassage, will also give you advice on what to do to help your body eliminate water retention more effectively.
Patients who decided to have a liposuction surgery and those who have just undergone invasive liposuction procedure are often referred to us by their surgeon to have a course of Endermologie Pre- and Post-Liposuction treatments to prepare the patient and help the healing process. It is a different Endermologie drainage technique and requires a patient to have a referral letter from their surgeon to be able to have this treatment at our clinic in south-east London SE13.
Treatment of Cellulite
Cellulite does not respond well to weight loss, exercise, creams or even surgical liposuction. Treatments are performed by trained therapists, with a hand-held, massaging head that intermittently rolls - over and sucks the affected area and kneads subjacent soft tissue. This unique combination of gentle suction and deep reaching massage is applied to the affected areas in a manner that cannot be replicated by any other treatments. (Patients have described the experience as relaxing - much like a deep body massage).
Whilst a precise reason for the success of this system is not yet fully understood, it is thought that it works by physically stretching, and therefore loosening the interconnected web of fibrous tissue which tethers the dermis (or connective) tissue to one another. By softening the bonds between these strands and - it is currently held - by stimulating the circulation beneath the skin, the process subsequently eradicates any unsightly dimples. By generating a massive surge of oxygen and blood to affected areas, the treatment mimics the behaviour of your body's healthy tissue, thus increasing the lymphatic drainage of stagnant, toxic waste within the system.
Furthermore, extensive medical research has conclusively revealed that - in addition to the arousal of deep circulatory activity - endermologie also increases levels of collagen within the skin: it is the combined action of these several factors that ultimately results in a significantly tighter, smoothly contoured body.
Lipomassage and Fat Reduction by Endermologie

Firming
Weight changes, pregnancy, or age the skin gradually loses its firmness and its flexibility. Although sagging skin affects the entire body, some areas are more sensitive to it, including the inner thighs, the tummy, and the arms.
This phenomenon is explained by the slower production of elastin and collagen fibers by the fibroblasts. The skin then loses its substance, and signs of aging appear.
Action: LPG Rolls combined with sequential stimulations act at the core of the fibroblast and activate the production of these essential support fibers (collagen and elastin).
Results: Redensified in depth, the skin becomes visibly firmer and toned!
Post Liposuction Endermologie Rehabilitation
Some patients get referred to us by their surgeon after they had a liposuction surgery. This is a special type of Endermologie treatment, and we will need a referral letter from your surgeon. Post-liposuction rehabilitation therapy by Endermologie is very beneficial for the patients a few days right after the surgery. It helps drain the lymphatic fluid that your body retains post surgery as well as smooth bumps and lumps that are inevitable part of the post lipo surgery effects. We will need to see you for a consultation to make sure that you are suitable for the treatment. Your surgeon will usually recommend how many sessions are needed, but as a guideline, you are likely to have between 10-20 sessions.
